AND CONDITIONS
2005 SHAR-PEI TOUR
Reservations and
Cancellations:
Your
reservation is made by
completing the Reservation Form
on the main
tour page or by calling Experience Asia Tours office, toll-free at
949-786-1567 from the US or Canada, or directly at 1-949-786-1567. At the time
of your reservation you will be asked for a $100 per person deposit, due within
14 days. If no deposit is
received within 14 days your reservation will be
released without notice. Final payment is due 60 days before the date of travel. Payments
by credit card are only accepted via paypal.com, and are subject to a processing
fee consistent with the fees charged by paypal.com.
Cancellation penalties apply,
except in the event of any cancellation initiated by Experience Asia Tours
(Ambassador Worldwide Services). Up to 61 days prior to departure, all monies
will be refunded except for the $100.00 deposit per person. Cancellation fees
for passengers who cancel 60 days or less prior to departure for any reason are
as follows: 60-46 days prior - 40% of base price; 45-16 days prior - 70% of base
price; 15 days or less prior - 100% of price. Airfare purchased from or through
Experience Asia Tours is non-transferable. Bulk and group tickets are
non-refundable once issued. Full fare retail tickets are refundable based on the
policies set by the issuing airline.
These
are heavy penalties and no
exceptions can be made. We
therefore URGE all passengers
to purchase cancellation
insurance when booking this
tour.

Not included in the tour
price:
The cost
of passport, the cost of the
tourist visa to China (visa
processing is available for $80
per person), the cost of
departure taxes when taking a flight not included in the tour price (approximately
$6 at each Chinese airport for
intra-China flights, and $13 at
your final departure from China
to North America), the cost of
all drinks including wine,
liquor, hot drinks, soft
drinks, bottled water, meals
not listed in the itinerary,
items of a personal nature,
extra hotel charges such as
telephone calls, faxes, e-mail,
pay-per-view movies, mini-bar,
room service, laundry, and
gratuities for the tour guides
and drivers.
Responsibility:
The
responsibility of Experience
Asia Tours, experienceasia.net and
Ambassador Worldwide Services
Corporation (collectively
referred to as "AWS"
here) is limited. As a travel
operator, AWS organizes,
promotes, and sells travel
programs and vacations
consisting of certain travel
services, including, but not
limited to, surface
transportation, sightseeing
excursions, cruise/hotel
accommodations, and meals and
entertainment that AWS
purchases or reserves from
various suppliers. The
suppliers providing travel
services for AWS’s travel
programs and vacations are
independent contractors and are
not agents or employees of AWS.
To the extent that AWS is
involved in the sale of air
and/or cruise transportation,
AWS acts as an independent
broker. AWS does not act as
agent for any party whatsoever.
AWS is not responsible for the
willful or negligent acts
and/or omissions of such
suppliers or of any air carrier
and/or cruise line or their
respective employees, agents,
servants, or representatives,
including, without limitation,
their failure to deliver or
their partial or inadequate
delivery of services. All
coupons, receipts, invoices,
and tickets are issued subject
to the terms and conditions
specified by the suppliers, air
carriers, and/or cruise lines.
By utilizing the travel
services of the suppliers, you
agree that neither AWS nor any
representative shall be liable
for any accident, injury,
property damage, or personal
loss to you or to those
traveling with you in
connection with any
accommodations, transportation,
or other travel services, or
resulting directly or
indirectly from any occurrences
or conditions beyond the
control of AWS, including but
not limited to, acts of
terrorism, war, defects in
vehicles, breakdown in
equipment, strikes, theft, or
delay or cancellation of or
changes in itinerary or
schedules. All pricing is
subject to change. AWS reserves
the right to correct
promotional or pricing errors
at any time, or increase the
program price in the event of
cost increases due to changes
in airfare, cruise fares,
currency fluctuations, park fee
increases, taxes or fuel
surcharges. AWS reserves the
right to decline to accept or
retain any person as a member
of any travel package or
vacation at its discretion. AWS
and/or its tour directors and
guides retain the right to
terminate the participation
(without refund) of any group
member at their discretion, if
such person's health, actions
or general deportment impede
the operation of the tour
and/or causes any hardship to
the tour director and/or other
tour members. In such a case
there will be no refund to the
tour member for the unused
portion of the tour, and all
additional expenses incurred,
such as airline ticket change
penalties, transfers to the
airport etc., will be the sole
responsibility of the tour
member whose participation was
terminated. AWS reserves the
right to cancel or alter at its
discretion and without notice,
any travel package or vacation
including, but not limited to,
change of dates, routing,
change of hotels, meals, shows
and/or sightseeing services of
any itinerary and/or tour
and/or vacation outlined in
this flyer and/or brochure. If
for any reason, AWS changes a
hotel(s) to a lower category,
you may either accept the
alteration or elect to cancel,
in which case you will be
entitled to a full refund.
Sellers of
travel in California are
required by law to disclose the
following: CST # 2054175-40.
Registration as a seller of
travel does not constitute
approval by the state of
California. California law
requires certain sellers of
travel to have a trust account
or bond. AWS has a trust
account. AWS is a participant
in the Travel Consumer
Restitution Corporation (TCRC).
Transactions made by passengers
from outside of California are
not covered by the TCRC. All
payments for travel services
not provided to the passengers
shall be promptly refunded, in
accordance with the agreed-to
terms and conditions.
Additional Notices:
Traveling
to China, all U.S. and Canadian
citizens must carry with them a
passport, valid for at least 6
months from the day the tour
ends!
You are also
required to obtain a tourist
visa to enter China. Experience
Asia Tours can arrange visa
processing. Please contact us
for details.
Please be
aware that many of the sights
visited do not have
accommodations for
mobility-impaired guests.
Experience Asia Tours
therefore does not recommend
this itinerary for travelers
with mobility restrictions.
However, such travelers are
invited to contact us about
other possibilities.
